A Permanent Place to Call Home
Wings of Hope Rescue Home currently provides shelter and support to vulnerable teenage mothers and their children. But our long-term vision goes beyond temporary shelter.
We are working towards establishing a permanent home designed around the needs of teenage mothers and their children — a place where they can receive care, continue their education, develop practical skills and access the support they need to rebuild their lives.
The project requires approximately KES 290 million (USD 2.2 million) to acquire land and develop the permanent home and its facilities.

Why a Permanent Home Matters
A permanent facility would allow Wings of Hope to bring several services together in one environment instead of depending on temporary spaces.
It would create room for residential care, education, counselling, skills training and other support services while giving the girls and their children a stable environment in which to grow.
Most importantly, the home would provide continuity. A girl would not only receive immediate protection; she would have access to support and opportunities that can continue as she works towards greater independence.
